Students from St Vincent and the Grenadines who demonstrate strong academic
achievement, and need financial support to pursue a Bachelor’s degree are
invited by Island Scholars Inc. to apply for scholarships. Applications should be
submitted online at www.islandscholars.org. The deadline is June 30, 2019. Scholarship recipients will be notified by July 31, 2019. Forty-one scholarships have been awarded since 2015.

Ages of our 2017 scholarship recipients range from 19 to 33. Scholarships are renewed each year if the student achieves a GPA of 3.0 or better. Most students defer entering college for several years because they are unable to secure funding for their education. Seven students will graduate from college at the end of the 2017 – 2018 academic year.
